Songs Ideas and Loops

Well hello again last time i spoke about making new music there is now on my myspace 3 new songs, Behind my tears, Ends of the Earth, and Ghosts in the lights, these songs have really cool orchestral parts and beats, sorta prefuse 73 mixing Gorecki!

one song was using a sample from Bela Emmerson who is an amazing avant-guarde celliest please check her out she is amazing and a really cool person too.

i am working on a new idea with again an amazing musician and singer the band Lameduza

right now at early stages but am looking forward to working on this project as she has an amazing voice and style of writing music.

right now just need some gigs and some inspriation to help me with my frustated state, times are rough right now, but music is keyxxx

New people new ideas creates creativity

hey people, well where shall i start, 1st had some virus on my computer so was out of action for awhile, but now am back and working on new material from loops with a cellist, to making songs with a guitarist and working on a new concept with my friend a dancer, so alot of creativity is happening, i am longing to play live tho, missing the excitment of performing and letting myself go!!

next am looking to finish these works and begin something more with my own band, i have been working on songs and i have 2 new brand stinking songs, very orchestral and epic, also listening to florence and the machine and loving it, plus bjorks volta tour, you should have a copy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whats been happening

hey people well the next chapter of this blog, is i did a sucessful gig at chameleon except for poor sound, also i have a my dvd of my live gig at the zanzibar, you can see footage on youtube as well, just type in 'the calm project' also working on a small idea with someone on myspace which is doing well, just need more inspiration right now any ideas world?

if anyone out there know's of some great new and different music then by all means let me know, thanks E xx

past couple of weeks

well people whats been happening?

1st did a gig on the 30th of may that was filmed and waiting on the dvd to see how it was?

new songs were played live so hope they sound good, plus new setup as well, that being a mac and interface that i haven't used before.

this week i am searching for jobs in media and arts wanting to go into it myself, also trying to think of ideas of what i can do next in order to make some money!

also i have written music for a performance happening this friday and saturday and that should be fun, mixing up hip hop and gypsy music, will get back to you on that one!

got gigs planned soon so hopefully they go well!
